Gry

-  Born in 1963 and raised in Nord-Odal approximately 35 kilometres from Kongsvinger. She has also lived 16 years at a farm in Skrautvål in Valdres.

- She has three children: Kjersti 1988, Vegar 1990 and Marita 1993. They live with their father Knut and Marit Trøen in Skrautvål. 

- Gry has an additional residence in Fagernes and she commutes regularly between Fagernes and Beiarn.

- She moved to Beiarn in 2005 and work together in Beiargrotter with Øyvind.

- Gry is educated as a schoolteacher and has worked as a teacher for 20 years. In addition, she has worked as a dairymaid every summer for 15 years, and as a tourist host for last three summers.   

-  Her main interests are cross-country skiing, biathlon and outdoor life.

- Gry is service minded, and she is looking forward to show others the beautiful nature in Gråtådalen.

Øyvind

- Is born in 1975 and raised at Løvstad Farm. He has been the owner since 2006. He has been running the farm together with his father for years.

- His main interests are tractors, cars and snowmobiles. He is also educated, and working, in this field. 

- Øyvind has a unique collection of cartoons, magazines, periodicals and handbooks of various sorts. 

- Travelling across Norway by car is another of Øyvind’s main interests. He also enjoys mountain hiking.

-   Øyvind’s many practical skills are useful as we are getting on with the restoration of the old houses at the farm.

- He is very excited about running the farm and looks forward to having more people visiting Gråtådalen
